Loeb Experimental Theater December 2 – 10 2011
Two women, terrified of the outside world, never leave their tiny apartment. The only thing they hate more than each other is the brick after brick of ramen they consume for their every meal. When mysterious red boxes begin appearing in their home, they must decide what matters more: the security of their insular life or a risk that may very well be worth taking.
B O X is a devised work that, through the combination of new writing and improvisation techniques, explores what happens when we lack the conviction to step outside of routine. Production designers Elizabeth Mak and Matthew Warner encased performers and audience members in a 16' x 16' white cube where the entire action happens. B O X performed the the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2012.
