The Lady and the Dale

In July 2021, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in the US, I got an email from my friend Liz Toonkel over at the animation company Awesome+Modest led by Sean Donnelly to work on a new documentary The Lady and the Dale. What ensued was a crazy few months for me entering the world of animation as a photo editor, building backgrounds and foreground elements out of stock photo databases for the animated sequences.
